Installing a spoiler??? Anyone done it before.....

Just want to see if anyone has installed their own spolier - any tips? things to avoid? I basically have a stock civic spolier however it is larger than stock - want to put it on this weekend but wanted to know if anyone has before???

No one has ever done anything like this before on this site. J/K.
I havent done it but one thing to make sure of is that the holes are 100% before you drill and make sure you replace the springs in the trunk to handle the extra weight.

I'd usually answer but its Tues morning and I'm tired.. There has been a few threads about this in the last couple weeks. Just do a search for spoiler and you'll find ample info.

BTW..how can you have a stock spoiler......yet it is bigger than stock?

i was told that it was stock and it looks stock but the back wing is alot bigger and it sits up higher - so, no its not stock but I was told it was....looks better anyways

Install on the OEM spoiler aint no thing,....just take your time,.......on the 10mm holes,....I didn't use a 10mm bit,....the 8mm bit scared me.......I just used a file untill it made a hole that was 10mm......aint no thing,.....just make sure not to jump from 3mm to 8mm......woooo...but its all good,.
