Maintenance TIME!!!!
Has anyone gone back to the dealer to get their car checked and had a new intake under the hood?
I wanted to ask if the dealer will trip of me having a new intake in the car.
Does adding a new intake or other parts such as springs and exhaust also void my warranty?

I just talked to my service and warranty manager today on the phone about mods. this is the advice he gave me.... "if I take the car in with problems remove the bolt on parts before I bring it in to the dealership." If something goes wrong with the car and they see mods, its the first thing the dealer is going to blame!

You must have a crappy dealer I asked mine and they said 17's would not void anything and I could even drop the car 1 in. All dealers are not created equal it sucks. Then my other dealer said my Clear Headlights would void it but he didn't know anything so whatever.

Thats strange, I have had no trouble as of yet. They actually want me to do work cause mine would be one of a kind in my area and would make people want to buy the Honda product and do the same, so they are all behind me, I am thinking I might see if I can get some sort of a sponsorship out of them.

it's time for my check up too but i just put my catback on last week and im not paying them to take it off and put it back on again. i might just have to risk it. i don't want to take the intake off either and put the factory one back on. Just thinkin about is giving me a headache.

I have put 18's on my car, lowered it 1.3" (done at dealership) and painted the trim in my car, cleared my lights, added a new grill (both top and bottom) and a new exhaust and my dealer loves it. The guys always compliment me on it when I go their and they haven't said anything about voiding parts. When I asked they said everything I have done is fine.
I am so glad I don't have a dealer thats a pr!ck!!

Yeah my dealer is cool too, I think it depends on the dealer. Mine actually painted and installed my body kit, and they all love it, the guys at the body shop are now my buds
I just had it in this past weekend for the 7500 mile check up they recommend, and they didnt say anything about my exhaust or rims or anything.

Yeah I have 10k on mine and I have like some mods done but I don't have the cash to do anything anymore. Hopefully this job market improves even with a college degree I am having problems. Yeah some people are just blessed with money its life.
