Rep Power: 0 17" Wheels + 2" Drop + Body Kit = Scrapeage???
My question is simple. If you put on 17” rims with a 2” drop then ride it for 6 month, after that install a full bodykit. Since the body kit brings you even lower to the ground would you need to “undrop” your car, or everything is cool???

Rep Power: 0 I think you'll be ok, the only probs I've heard have been the exhaust scraping sometimes, depending upon the type and how it is installed. With a 2inch drop you might want to get camber kits to be sure so things stay balanced and strait

Rep Power: 0 you could go with 220/80r17's if you dont want to scrape... i have 16s on 215/40r16's with a 1.8 drop and only scrape when i go over an angled hilled driveway.

Rep Power: 0 no i have coilovers, and they are all the way low....4 inches of drop.......with a vis racing octane kit.....and 17 inch rims with 205/40/17 and i hardly scrape at all, and im only about and inch or 2 off the ground, just remember drive more safe, on angles such as driveways and parking lots, go at an angle.....a big angle........and last but not least, if you see a pot whole coming up fast in your lane, friggen MOVE lol im seriosu thats the only way, and let me tell you joliet ill has road const everywhere, and the roads are still crappy!!!! oh and 220 80 17 would look stupid, they are def not low pros, and you dont put big truckin tires on 17 in rims for a civ...sorry, thats my opinion....

Rep Power: 0 I run 17's wit a 2" drop and a oem body kit w/ no problems (then again that one is not too low)....just watch out for tall speed bumps and potholes and you'll be alright.

You drive around with a 4" drop? Doubt it. Even with 17's there's no way your shocks could handle it.

Ummm, yeah, sure. 215/40 17s with 2" drop and kaminari kit - I havnt scraped anything but my exhaust, and thats only the clamp in the middle.

Rep Power: 0 If you dont wanna drive around town paranoid at hitting a pot hole etc then dont drop more than 1inch, especially depending on the heigth of the tire with 17's I have 17 w/ 215/35/17 and still worry about hittin a huge hole and poping my tire, that is enough worry. Forget the drop and buy some neons w/ that body kit.

Rep Power: 0 i have around a 3.5 inch (all da way down on GC coils) drop with stock bumper and exhaust, i scraped my front bumper on the bottom and the paint came off...yup so with a kit i would suggest a 1.5 inch drop if you ride on 17z. But around my town the roads are the most f*cked up i have ever seen so also depends on your streets.

no, I'm just outside of Chicago, I drive in the city at least a couple times a week, and I'm SURE our roads are worse.
