K&N FIPK VS INJEN CAI VS AEM CAI

I WAS VERY CLOSE TO ORDERING A INGEN CAI, BUT CAME ACROSS THE K&N FIPK. WHICH WOULD HAVE BETTER PERFORMANCE.

i believe all intakes alike are all the same performance wise...i dont think ull notice any gain in hp...unless u have an intake, header, and exhaust...the most will probablly be like 5hp...for me i would go wit the injen race division cold air intake..

I'd go with the injen or aem cai. What makes them different are the filters and where the filter is located. The injen is a true cai. The aem is not. The injen's filter is located behind the front bumper where the air should be cooler and the cavity it sits in helps protect it from the elements. I'd go with the injen cai.

I have heard nothing but complaints about the iceman system.

the thing about the injen system is that they dont have an air bypass valve and here in miami where the precipitation is

way high...i woulnt want the engine to hydro lock and fvck the whole engine up

so my question is this could the aem by pass valve fit into the injen cai?????

well, supposedly, your engine isn't gonna hydro lock unless your filter is completely submerged in water, and common sense dictates you don't drive any car into water deep enough to submerge it. IMO, I don't think the bypass valve is really worth the extra cash

hydrolock should not be of any concern unless you drive through some deep friggin' puddles..... iceman is POS.... injen... aem... other intakes... they're all the same... same gains... basically.... lemme say this again.... HYDROLOCK SHOULD NOT BE OF ANY CONCERN TO YOU UNLESS YOU LIVE UNDERWATER....

I prefer the AEM CAI but that's just me I guess.
The "Ice Man" is out, I saw one late last week for a Neon. Pretty weird, cimes with a battery relocater plate if required for the install.
