what screws need to be taken out to remove the upper stock grill?
does the bumper need to be taken off?

take it off that's the only way the screws are inside the bumper.

Once you take the bumper off, you'll be able to see where the upper grill attaches to the bumper.
I think it's about 5 or 6 screws.

I didn't have to take off the bumper, when I put my upper grill in. I left my car out in the sun for a # of hours to soften up the plastic. Then there are just a few screws and plastic ones. It came off pretty easy, but getting the new one on was a real pain. There are about 5 expandable plastic screws which took some time and patience, but I eventually got the new grill over them and all attached.

Me no have pix, But I suggest you take off the bumper, You'll bond with the car, hence get a deeper understanding overall, just make sure not to misplace any screws/bolts or nuts you take off. [IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG]
