Rep Power: 0 Question about Grill Emblem
Granted, I JUST bought it (2010 Civic LX-S,) and am loathe to do life wrench or screwdriver to it as of yet, but have a general question.
The grill is the chrome-lip over the black (polymer?) standard, and I'm not sure if I want to replace it with a OEM all-black grille, or what.
(1) Is the grille and 'lip' one piece?
(2) The Honda logo 'block,' is it a separate piece? Is it removable from the front, or the back? If so, is there a 'blank' black block I can replace it with (sans logo?)
(3) I've looked at a LOT of parts sites, and not really finding what I'm looking for, and the disassembly/replacement videos/sites I see do not address it.
I would also like to mention this is the FIRST car I've ever owned that I truly love

correct, theres no way to remove the emblem without leaving a hole behind. the emblem will break off, but then there will be a smooth black backing that wont blend in with the grill. gotta see if there are any aftermarket versions.
