Smile Honda Seatbelt Extension

Honda refuses to make seatbelt extensions for us big boys that have a honda or for people that have packed on a little more weight... Alas I have a solution I paid a visit to my local auto recycler and cut out a front seat belt clip and receiver and about three feet of seatbelt webbing to create my own seatbelt extension as seen here. Sure beats the uncomfortable tight fitting seatbelt I had to begin with. If you can't make it yourself and need one give me a shout.... This was made out of necessity my local sheriff was making big bucks off me, because of the seatbelt law here and the ticket is 180 dollars a pop after paying them five times it was time to get something done.

Re: Honda Seatbelt Extension

Wow, that's pretty big. My mom is 5'4" and 300lbs and she fits in my 2001. She says it's uncomfortable but, she fits.

I guess they don't think big people will ride in a civic because I know for a fact they make an extension for the Odyssey.

Good DIY. Now the question is will that belt hold in a wreck?

True I never wore a seatbelt for 14 years until now... Now to answer the question if it will hold up in an accident my brah hooked it up to his engine hoist and used it to support the weight of his 351 windsor suspended from the hoist, So if it can support that much weight it should hold back 400 lbs of Hawaiian Samoan in an accident.
