Re: Integra Type R build
Thats the stock Type R front end. Its a RHD Type R.
It had a stock Ls/Vtec motor in it. The car was sold a little while ago. It was a really fun car though.

Looks sick, I have always loved the front end on the jdm type r's. I have a buddy where I live that has a true honda integra type r that is rhd and that thing is mean.

Re: RHD Integra Type R build
I love the Type-R but driving it daily sucked ***. Being on the wrong side is cool for about 5 min and then it gets old. It would be great for a weekend car but not a daily.
Re: RHD Integra Type R build
Ya I see what you mean, I drove my buddies ITR and it was weird as hell. It to me a min to get use to it lol.

Very nice job on the paint, you have your own paint booth in your garage?

No paint booth. I just wait for a calm nice day and get to it. I do however have 2 big fans that pull the fumes out. Its not perfect but its all I got at the moment.

Looks like a good paint job (though I hate red)
Thumbs up to you
How much did your gun and equipment cost?
Maybe planning to invest on that instead of a shotty paint shop

Re: RHD Integra Type R build
I got 2 paint guns at a pawn shop for 50 bucks. I started out painting body kits and small stuff. This was the first full car I painted. It came out really nice I think. It takes some practice and time to get the settings right on the gun but once you get it down its not that bad. Its the prep work and the buffing after that really sucks ***.

Not sure how much the compressor was. It was a gift. I see ones like it though go for around 500.
Laying the base cote is usually pretty easy. Its the clear that you really have to have the settings right and take your time.
