94 civic dx, mt

I'm adding a kill switch to the fuel pump and i just want some reassurance before i cut into the wires.

yellow/green wire (i think is power) or the ground wire (black) or am i way off my rocker (which wire). I initially thought yellow/grn, but i have seen a few people say to use the grnd wire with out any explanation why.

All i want is to disable the fuel pump when the toggle is off. I dont want to remove power from the ecu forcing an idle relearn every time i flip the switch. hidden wires and switch are the other reason.

after completing, i expect the car to start, maybe even run for a couple seconds then die. I would rather it appear to be an broken car than a dead give-away that there is a kill switched installed somewhere and start their Easter egg hunt for it.

finally got it all worked out. 3 trips to radio shack to find a switch that was easy to hide. it was the yellow/green btw if anyone else runs across this.

Not that anyone would ever know who you are or where you live, just out of curiosity where did you put the switch and is it a bitch to switch on and off every time?
