Question about installing a header

I have a 96 honda civic dx.Im goin to replace my stock manifold and cat with a header. After I install the header and screw the o2 sensors back in I understand its probly going to throw a code which I dont care about. What I wanna know is will the car run like crap because its throwing a code?

Iv done headers before but they were on my camaro z28 and it didnt even throw a code or anything. Im just wondering if honda cars are different. I wouldnt think they are but I just wanna know before I buy a header.

Re: Question about installing a header

I think all cars run rich after a header install. My camaro did but that dosent mean it ran like crap. Are you sayin hondas actualy run like crap after header install? If so to what extent? The computer wont adjust itself to the fuel needs?
