Cat Delete Header and O2 sensor????
I installed the megan header with cat delete and o2 extension (2005 civic VP). i've run into a few problems, because the extension pulls the o2 sensor out a bit, it causes the o2 sensor wire to crimp which caused me to blow my alternator fuse this caused the battery to die and the speedo not to work. It's a straight o2 extension and causes too much wire crimping. Should i buy the L shaped one? I'm currently running with no post cat sensor plugged in to avoid this fuse blowing(lost three alternator fuses during troubleshoot) CEL is also on, not sure if my car is in lean mode either. Any suggestions to remove the CEL and fix the O2 sensor wire situation? Also lost my radio code card, is there another place on the car that my radio code might be. Thee dealership said i would have to go their to get the radio code and that they couldn't give it over the phone.

Re: Cat Delete Header and O2 sensor????
i have a 2004 VP with a meagan header with no o2 extension with a megan angled o2 simulator its a tight fit there is enough slack to zip tie the o2 wires away from the header so i would imagine having the extension paired with the angled o2 simulator would give you plenty of slack this is were i got mine from

Re: Cat Delete Header and O2 sensor????
When I had my race header, I ran an angled O2 sensor and had no problems with CEL's... well, I think i had a few, but I cleared them and they didnt come back. The straight O2 sensor defouler doesnt work on our cars because the exhaust hangs too close to the floor, and if it looks like its okay, it will rub when you shift gears and the motor tilts in the bay.
Re: Cat Delete Header and O2 sensor????
also on the dx lx models you can only use one defouler not 2 like that diy says or it will hit the alternater and it won't work correctly with one because it doesn't get far enough away from the flow of exhaust .
