Ok, so im doing a engine swap and im almost finished im going from a 1.5L to a 1.6L now i have one last little problem i have to deal with, and thats the distributor..i cant put the distributor for the 1.6L on the 1.6L cause the wiring connectors are different it has 7 wires and the wiring harness has a 5 pin connector..and i cant use my old distributor cause the mounting bolts dont match and i just cant get the engine to turn over with it, is there a way to swap the connectors out? does it need all 7 wires to operate that damn dissy or is there a dissy that has the 1.6L mounting bolts and the old carbureted type wiring harness connectors? anyone who has anything that can help me on this issue please toss an idea at me
