Transmission Fluid Leak

Hi, I have a 2004 Civic DX Sedan and I saw some ATF fluid underneath the engine today. Where should I check first to see where it might be leaking?

I would check the drain plug first. Are you sure its atf fluid?

Also check the dipstick, they tend to shrink and pop out over time.

i have alot of issues with trans fluid too. one day i found a small explosion all over the trans case and underneath. i think fluid came up thru the dipstick hole. i also have a slow leaking rear main seal so fluid comes out there too. it could also leak from the axle seals or the case itself. is it only at the bottom? or coming from the top too.
