i was just reading a thread about rubber stops.... my friends installed the springs for me and he said he only trimmed the rubber stops on the rear struts.... not the FRONT.... what should i do.... i was watching him put the parts on and they were a pain in the ***... i don't want to ask him to take it apart again and waste more time than he already has. and I noticed the car isn't lowered as well in the front as it is in the back....when i press down on the front, it doesn't move much

Well, if I remember correctly, you were supposed to remove 20 mm from the front stops too. The problem will be that you will bottom out on the stops too soon and get a terrible ride. The front springs are stiffer, due to the engine, so you won't notice it that way unless you are pushing down on the strut towers (hood up).

Do you bounce a lot going down the freeway. I doubt it will hurt too much, though the ride will be terrible.

I didn't trim my fronts either when I got the Prokit installed this week either. Infact, I didn't really see a stop to trim, unless it was the black one at the top of the strut. I didn't see one like the one from the back ??

Well, I plan on getting some struts eventually, so I guess I'll trim it when I install them. Hopefully I'll remember to !!

BAK...did the instructions say to cut the front stops?...I heard since the drop is only an inch that the fronts don't need to be trimmed...

Machina - actually after looking at the instructions, I didn't see anything about the fronts, just a diagram of where to cut the rears .
