I have an EJ1 automatic transmission. I want to convert it to stick and put in a B16a1. I was wondering what engine harness and ECU to use and if I am technically going from OBD1 to OBD 0???? I have no idea because the B16a1 is OBD 0 Im pretty sure...or is it all just plug and play after I do the conversion???

What year is the b16a1 from? I have a b16a1 in my car and I am just finishing up a swap I did. My b16a1 is OBD1.... What year is your car? Befor you do a swap make sure you have all the information you would need to do it, trust me it will make life a whole lot easier, I know. First you would need to know what car the b16a1 came from and what year. Then either do one of two things. 1. Find a harness from that year and make (example 94' Del Sol b16a3 get a harness from a 94 Del Sol). 2. Try going to www.rywire.com they have alot of infor on Handa engines and they hooked me up by sending them my stock harness and they re-wired it for my engine and it came out great. They also have alot of good usefull info on there site. So find out what year the b16a1 is and that will tell you what OBD it is. As for the ECU try to get one with the Engine or try to find one from the same year b16a1. Just do alot of research first so you wont have any ruts on the way. Other then that just ask on here there are plenty of people who are willing to help a fellow Civic owner out. Good Luck
