sohc vtec performance help?
Re: sohc vtec performance help?
The only problem with this is the fact that a 10 yr old civic has prolly gone through its runs and then some. I'm not saing you will have probems with a lil boost but you are deffinitely looking for trouble unless the car has been taken care of and treated like a baby. I would say less the 50k miles a turbo wont be that bad but anything else, I would have some look over the car for any problems especially burning oil/anti freeze.
For some cheaper upgrades for decent tq/hp gains try headers, exhust, intake, intake manifold, and depending on ur buget lightweight rims help too but with a high price tag. I'm more then willing to get part numbers and prices for u too.

b18b or b18c1 swap. most cost effective way to get a good amount of hp. b18b will net you around 140hp for around probably $1500-2000k. b18c1 will net you 170hp for around $2500-3000k.
