Anyone had probs getting an alignment? *please read*
2 places i've checked w/ so far.. one is just a local guy, because my car is dropped, it's $60/hr unless it turns out to be fairly easy.. and then there's Dobb's, they won't do it at all.. anyone else run into stupid people like that? (and anyone here in st louis have anywhere i can go?)

Yeah, Belle Tire would not touch my lowered GMC Sonoma at all but this really kick a$$ suspension and alignment shop in town did it and they do all of my suspension work from now on. No trouble or hassels!

Yep, had that experience with a previous car. They don't won't to mess with it because they can't really do anything for without camber kits. Also, if they use the machine that uses lasers, the car gets in the way of the laser's path. You need camber kits and a place that does alignments the old fashioned way.

well, already have camber kits.. (well, i can't get the d@mn fastcam bolts in myself for some reason.. but got the rears arms in).. found out national tire and battery will do it for $89..
ah well, the perils of a lowered car..

well, it seems i get to use the yellow pages.. NTB couldn't do it.. i barely made it onto the rack.. AND.. seems the ingals front bolts.. AREN'T THE RIGHT ONES.. grrrr..so now i have to take off work tomorrow to try and find a place that can do it and such.. is there anyone here in stl w/ ideas?

sorphin.....Good Luck!!!I've found it so tough to get a proper alignment done...My advice is to find the closest performance based wheel and tire specialist...They can usually do a good job....
I've used Midas and Sears in the past. Midas won't warranty their work because of the drop, but Sears did. Obviously the lame *** Honda dealer wouldn't even think of touching it.
I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but I think I'd reccomend Sears.

welp, sears refered me to NTB (since they own NTB).. i ended up at firestone, and they won't warranty it, but did me good.. now to sort out this steering wheel shaking like it's having a nico fit problem...
