LT2004ever, I am actually QUITE happy with the Valeos...came out of an audi A4 and they are plenty bright. Crazyasian was the kid that said they suck and to be honest...he is being biased. They might not be on the level of a tsx or a s2000 projector, but they are 100 times better than the TYC halogen projectors with a kit in them.

wassup yo. true about the valeos, those e46 you have are so much better even with stock 35w bulbs. you need to go 50w for sure! and im jealous you have hi beam and im stuck with the regular singles. but still e46>>>valeo no contest in terms of brightness even it it doesnt have a nice and colorful cutoff. brightness>>colors. oh yeah i dont need the vacuum anymore im back in NV now... everytime i see audis i laugh at how bad the beam is esp with the old bulbs on them. i would say my old valeo retro was the same brightness as oem reflector with H4 halogen bulb + catz zeta boost (and my camera agrees). valeo looks great no doubt, but its just too dim for my taste to the point where i would rather stay with stock halogen with boost for less problem (valeo ballast died 6 months later from water damage)
