Can the headlights from the Acura EL fit the civic of the same year?

the head lights no... only for the specific model year civic will fit each others, none from other models. ei. 01-03. and 03-05.

you can "retrofit" an HID setup into your stock housing, but that requires a fair amount of skill and money.

The shape is slightly different and there is no turnsignal bulb in the Acura EL headlight assembly as their turnsignals were in the bumper.

you can put them on. but you'll need a conversion.

i hear even wit the fenders,, the molding of the front wind shield is different, gotta do some custom, work inorder to make it work,, and you gotta rewire you signal,, and stuff

The conversion isn't worth it because it looks very similar to em2 front end
