quick mod to regain lost performance

okay as i was figuring out how to hook 7 different power cables to the battery, i ended up getting a whole new terminal and making sure everything was tight. since then, my car starts much quicker and feels more responsive. let me tell you why. the stock clamp is garbage, and can get loose over time and also rusty. and the wire harness for the car can also become corroded. having all the connections clean and tight with new clamps made it so much better. i ended up with a fleet terminal from advance auto which worked out great and you can connect extra power wires to the side bolts that hold the big harness together.

another thing to check is the ground wires. i found that the one that goes across the engine near the header was about to fall off. maybe from the heat or something, but i literally yanked the wire out of the ring clamp lol. so ended up redoing that one too. make sure they are all tight and replace anything that looks corroded or loose.

Re: quick mod to regain lost performance

here lol from the other thread. dont get the small terminals they just crack and break if you try and tighten lol. with these, you can put stuff on the side bolts too and then tighten it all down. so far every start has been perfect unlike before where it would struggle. i wish i wouldve cleaned off the stock wires a bit cause they didnt look shiny, but i guess it should be okay for now. i just hate to keep doing the idle learn each time.
