I am putting k24a2 pistons into a k24a8 block... acura tells me there are 2 different pistons for the a2. the difference between the two is .01mm and $12each? My question is, will that small of a measurement make a big enough difference as to if I get the wrong ones I will have problems? thx

in which direction is the difference? Diameter or height?
You're gonna have to hone the block for new rings anyways, .01mm is 3 ten-thousandths of an inch... thats less than the tolerance on just about any machine I can think of. Buy slugs, take them with the block to the shop, have the machine shop prep the block for the slugs you got.
If its a height difference.... it'll just change the compression, tuning will dial it out.

PS - if one set is forged and the other set is cast, get the forged ones.

what are slugs?
I went with the bigger ones and figured if they were too big I could get the walls honed
