Changing the Throttle Position Sensor on a 2001 Civic
Hello,
Does anyone have any experience changing out a bad TPS on a civic? I have ordered the new part (just the TPS, not the whole throttle body) and just realized that the screws holding it onto the throttle body are flat and do not have any groves for phillips, flat head or hex. Should I just pop it out?
Thanks!

you need to dremel the rivets out, then tap them for new screws, then find a way to cut a new gasket, and finally adjust the tps voltage to spec according to the service manual. i hope you didnt pay more than $10 for the new sensor. cause with the whole TB going for $50 on ebay, its much easier to swap it out and be done with it
