hey whats up guys. i just got a 2001 civic coupe with 14" hub caps. i know it's cheesy but i just got some different hub caps at wal mart until i get some new wheels. WHAT I NEED HELP WITH IS, DO I NEED TO TAKE THE BOLTS OFF ALSO OR CAN I JUST SNAP THE HUB CAP OFF THE WHEEL (the stock ones)? THANKS AND GET BACK ASAP. THANKS SO MUCH

you must take the nuts off before the hubcap will come out. and dont forget to tighten them all the same around 80-90 ft/lbs with a torque wrench otherwise you will warp the brake rotors.

well yeah, its safer to raise it since you are removing all the lug nuts. loosen them with the car on the ground tho then raise it, take em off, then put it back on hand tight and then torque them fully in a criss cross pattern once on the ground
