timing

When you time the car supposably there is a wire that you have to unplug to time it. I have no clue which wire it is does anybody know.

Re: timing

Which year?
2000 or older, grab the #1 plug wire with the lead on the timing gun
2001 - on - doesnt have plug wires. the ignition is completely computer controlled, you dont time it, you just set the crank and cam marks as noted in the repair manual and let the computer do its thing.
