engine putts and sputters when a load is applied
engine putts and sputters when a load is applied
My honda civic had a b18b1 dohc integra engine in it with a t25 greddy turbo kit. i recently took my car to a dyno to help figure out what the problem was. It all turns out that when a load is applied (2nd,3rd,4th,5th gear) it putts and sputters around 3-4 rpm. I then took the tube off the intake and ran it straight open no turbo, it did the same thing so it rules out the turbo. Note that the car runs lean all the time. any idea? maybe a sensor issue or computer problem??

Check the plug gap and change the plugs. You may also want to run through the fuel system, the pump, the regulator, the injectors, and so on.... Running lean is never a good thing.

well check and see if your fuel pressure regulator is adjustable or if its closed try new plugs too its probably not getting fuel fast enough in high rpms if its running lean all the time.

this may help, my car was doing the same thing, and i changed a fuse, the alternator/s sensor fuse and it stopped, i had no speedo and it ran like crap, if i kept the gas pedal barely pressed it ran fine, but as soon as any kind of pedal was given it spit and sputtered
