Suicide Doors
Suicide Doors
I was wondering if anybody knew anything about installing suicide doors on my sedan? How can I do it? Has it been done? Should I do it?
yea its alot of custom work im having it done to my car over summer break. Its going to cost around 1200 cause ive worked with the guys, but its usually some where in the 3 g range i believe. If ur gonna do a 4dr suicide then i suggest just doing the two back doors and make them suicides, it costs less and looks hot when all doors swing out to make it look like a huge open cabin. IMO. To do it yourself, unless you have serious body work experience then go right on ahead, but if your asking those general questions im taking it you might not, so its not something to look into as a DIY.
Like WickedEX said, I am only gonna suicide my rear doors. I think it would look a lot better like that. The only thing about it though, it that you would only be able to put one hindge on it. THis means you would be more likely to messup the alignment of the door my pushing down on it. But why would you let someon swing on your doors anyways. I cant wait to get it done. Havent priced anywhere though

for the gullwing? i dont think you could mount it that way cause our frame is probably too weak to hold it but i'm sure you could make it open like how lambo's doors open. i've seen it on a couple cars, n would like to see it on my car but ya i have yet to find a shop thats able to do it. i think its gunna cost alot tho.
