Now, for all of you out there who are very familiar with imports and tuning, PLEASE forgive me as i might sound a little illiterate with imports! This '02 civic LX is my first import ever!



ANYWAYS, to get on with it! I recently experienced some major engine troubles (what those are i dont know, but they arent good!) and rather than dick around with going to a honda dealership and getting the diagnosis and repairs, i was thinking of swapping out for a new engine (or used!)

I've heard the the 2002 Acura RSX engine will fit into the stock '02 LX engine mounts, which excites me!

OR!!!!

I read on the net lastnight that a K20A2 engine will fit! which is better and why!?


BTW (ByThe Way!) My car is a 5-speed manual trans.

K20A2 is from the RSX Type-S. No they dont use the same mounts... u have to buy hasposrt mounts from what i remember... but up at the top of the page theres a drop menu that says search... Click it and type in K20 swap.... then it will answer all your questions.
