Throttle cable problem

Regarding the Diy throttle cable adjustment, suppose i were to follow the steps in the diy section, how should I know if the adjustment I did is correct or enough? How much hp gain will i possibly get from this? Im new in tuning 2k1 civics so here I am asking help from you guys. Pls advice, thanx guys.

the reason for adjusting or tightening up ur cable, is because car manufactures put a little slack in the cable to prevent people with very little foot control from rear ending other people,,,all you're doing is tightening the cable up so you reach open throttle sooner, which means a little more responsive....remember when your car is warm the normal rpm reading is about 600, just tighten the cable and watch your rpms, if it to 800 or 900 you've tightened too much,,, try to keep ur rpm's around 600-700 remember the first thick line on ur rpm guage is 500 rpms

You wont gain a thing but a quicker throttle response. Leave it alone, its not that worth it.

yep! no horse power at all, that would have been cool though, you can take off the line a little faster and less foot movement, it doesnt do much but gives you a couple words to say when someone asks you what you did to your car. you can say " Shortened Throttle Cable!"
