Radiator Replacement

I have a 98 civic dx coupe and need to replace my stock radiator. Not planning to upgrade or anythign but I wanted to know if this would be a simple DIY job??

Yeah it should be pretty simple. Basic hand tools should be all you need.

just be sure to bleed the air out of it once you fill it back up...air pockets in the cooling system are a nasty surprise.

its easy. drain radiator, clean reservoir, disconnect hoses from radiator, disconnect fan wire(next to reservoir), remove radiator, remove fan from radiator, place fan on new radiator, install new radiator, connect fan wire, connect hoses(make sure all is tight), fill radiator and reservoir, run engine and fill as necessary. run the engine untill fan kicks in and upper hose is hot. check for leaks. check radiator and reservoir levels to be sure all is well.
