Just bought a 2005 LX sedan and about the only thing I wish it had was audio controls on the steering wheel.

Has anyone done a swap to a TL (or recommend a different option) steering wheel with cruise and audio? Obviously the audio controls would goto nothing directly in the Civic, but an adapter from PAC would be used to control the new Alpine HU. It would also need to work with the cruise.

you'd be the first i've heard of doing this. i suppose it's possible. make sure you do a diy for it, if you end up doing it.

^probably, but that's going to ge a minor issue, relative to trying to get all the controls to work.

yeah it wont work. u prob. need a TSX. i think the steering hub for TL is bigger. TSX might fit. y not buy a remote adapter for it? it clips in the side of the steerin wheel. my friend has it for his pioneer d2

That sounds expensive. Haven't heard of anyone doing it. I think the hub is too big to fit a civic.

my sister has a TL i don't think you should do it man it has so much crap on that steering wheel that the LX can't use

i like the tsx idea and i agree with monkey, if you do it, make sure you put up a diy. i know quite a few would be interested in whether or not this would work. like that guy that was trying to put an s2000 wheel in his vic
