cylinder head removal question

when removing the cylinder head to you have to remove the aleternator and the power steering. the diy doesnt really go into that much detail with the lx to ex swap so i was jw.

^^^^^ yes they both need to come out. for the p/s pump just loosen the two bolts and the wing nut to release belt tension then pull the belt off. after the belt is off remove the two bolts and put the p/s pump to the side. LEAVE THOSE P/S HOSES ATTACHED! Just use an oven mitt or fender portector to protect the paint.

Remove the alternator completely. take off 10mm nut from postive side bolt and unclip the harness. push back the tab and pull plastic piece off of the alternator. then remove the top nut. now you dont have to remove the driver side tire but it is easier if you do. remove the bottom bolt,the tensior loosens as you remove this bolt as their connected together. slide the belt off then just pull the alternator out. you have enough room to get the alternator out without having to remove anything. any other questions just ask.
