Rep Power: 0 I have a question about that. What exactly is Honda going to do when i take my car in for a service? And how much is it going to set me back? I had the first light come on but I just turned it off and I get my oil changed and everything so I was just courious. Thanks

Rep Power: 0 Phatster how many miles? 10k? they dont really do anything more than whats in your owners manual, and there are a few things like fuel filter changes and others that aren't listed that are needed, but at higher intervals than what honda service would like....
for the 30k service they do everything in the book plus adjust the valves.... now, i've never owned a car that needed the valves done at 30k new......... but if your valves are a bit noisy just fix them if you want, take it in, or do what I will do.... leave it slightly noisy (a slightly noisy valve is a happy valve)

Rep Power: 0 i just had my 10k maintenance done... just an fyi for everyone else, the light comes on at 8k and will blink for a longer period of time up until 10k, when it comes on constant. as far as i know, they do an oil change, check all your fluids, check your breaks, rotate and align your tires... i'm pretty sure that's it. i can double check my invoice if you want to know for sure... oh and its around 95 bucks...

Rep Power: 0 screw them. My uncle is a mechanic and has me put it on the lift and shows me whats wrong and has me fix anything thats wrong anyway...nothing too difficult though...just rotate and balance tires and check brakes...I did pull out my power stearing pump and altrenator with a little help from him though. I was kinda proud of that. =)
