scenario

Alright, lets just say I have quite a bit of money to put into lowering my car, and I want to go ahead and do it perfect the first time instead of having to pay more and do stuff over again later. I was thinking about goin with ground controlls, but Im not posotive on that. I dont know a whole lot about all of this, so im hoping yall will enlighten me a bit. Ok, what kind of coil overs, (shocks, strutts I dont quite know the difference yet), and camber kits should i get? Thanks a whole lot for the help, please show an expensive way to go, and also how i would go if i was just goin to go with ground controlls. I have 2001 civic ex, 18 inch tsw revos wrapped in yokahoma parada 215/35/18. i wanna drop it somewhere 2-2 1/2 inches. And I dont want a real bumpy ride, but whatever, performance is cool too. laters

are you sure you want coilovers? i would recomend Eibach sportlines...i've heard only good things about them (but you can't adjust the height)..it give you a nice approx. 2 inch drop..and get koni adjustable shocks and an i dunno what camber kit..

I have a 00' Si and it's suspension is as follows:
Koni Yellow Adj.
Ground Controls
Ingalls Kit front
Then modified rear

This setup done correctly with very little (-) negative camber in the front is incredible compared to anything i have ever riden on. Some people say the GC's are too stiff, mine were too until you get the whole setup working JUST right! Incredible handling and i would never sugest anything else.
For the 6th gens the cost Is going to be over 1500+ but it will be WELL worth it! Im not sure what cost you are looking at for the 7th gens but extremely close i would imagine. Don't forget to get a GOOD 4 wheel alignment when all done.
Hope this helps ya out let us know what you decide to go with

p.s. I know that this is a 7th gen site but our cars are still somewhat similar setups so I still look in on this site from time to time to either help out or get some help.

if you got the money get real coilovers, not a GC kit. they have all the adjustments and you can even rebuild some of them.
