camshaft question

ok ok i know this has been asked, but i cant find an answer with the search. my question is...with a crowler stage 2 cam...does the car idle right? i know that it will have a lope because of the cam, but does the computer try to over ride it or anything? thanks alot guys.

It idles fine in open loop but u need a piggy back at least to help it idle in closed loop. See my vids in the thread titled d17 weaker than I thought.

You're gonna need something else piggybacking on the computer.... more air = more gas and the stock computer isn't going to like it.

so would a neo or a vafc-2 work? or do i need something like a emanage?

a vafc2 would work for fuel but has no timing adjustability. Emanage or AEM EMS would have all of this.

Dmowerz34 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
ide get the greddy emanage ultimate can do alot more than vafc does i have a vafc and its still was making power on the dyno when it hit the stock rev limiter but it idles fine once it gets tuned but until then youll notice a difference in sound
