I Need Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i have a big problem. i was driving home from work when i started to smell something burning like a cristmas tree and wiers burning. it was coming from inside the car so i pulled over and checked and i could not find anything.so i started to drive away and then i noticed that my check engine and battery light was on and my speedometer was not working. everything else was working fine just the other stuff was not. i am kinda lost here so if anyone has any suggestion on what it might be i need help. i just read that HwNpRyDe_CiViC HAS THE SAME PROBLEM.... its a 01 ex

Start looking for fried connections, get a code scanner and see what the code(s) is/are and start working backwards from there. My guess.... check the alternator.

ok i found the problem . my trunk cought on fire. and all the wires were burned so i need the whole wireing harness on the rear passanger side. and i posted in multiple sections because i had no feed back on it.
