04-05 Trunks?

Okay I'm in need of a trunk lid for my 04 civic coupe but I was wondering if I could put a 01-03 trunk lid on my car also? If that is possible, would an 01-03 hood also fit? I'm pretty sure the hood doesn't fit because the front end on those years are entirely different than the 04-05 styles. Can anyone verify whether the trunk lid or hoods will fit?

hoods from 01-03 will not fit
trunk will, coupe to coupe and sedan to sedan only...obviously

oh ok, i figured the hood wouldn't fit. it sucks that most of the honda sites won't ship a stock trunk lid to hawaii. at least now i know i can look around over here for an 01-03 trunk lid.

i checked all the ones on my island but no one has any. i haven't checked the other islands yet. that's why it sucks to be stuck in the middle of the ocean.

well i dont think the trunks fit on any year cuz i bought an 03 trunk for my civic cuz i got rear ended as tryed putting it on it didnt fit it was off by and inch so dont its true

you know they have to be aligned, its not just gunna go on, you have to mess around with the alignment, even more so if you were rear ended. the things to alight it are under the rear deck lip i beleive

All 01-03 models are the same style and the trunk should fit. 04-05 are the newer styles.

yea im prett ysure all are the same cuz i bought a cf trunk from a guys who had it on his 01-03 i have a 05. all i did was readjust the hook for the trunk.
