can side markers be both on and blink on 2k1
Hey , I have a question about side markers. I've installed a pair and now i have them so they only blink when the signal is on.
But I tired to mess around with the wireing and see if it is possible to have them on and blink. When I did that my back blinkers stayed on the whole time. I was wondering if there is anything i missed while hooking them up. If somebody has then connected in that way please write back. Help

Rep Power: 0 Hey I am sure some of you have side markers. Is it possible to hook them up in the way where they can stay on and also blink when the signal is on or you have to choose one way.

Rep Power: 0 i'v tryed my self but i don't think we can have a cake and eat too.......unless theres a side marker out that uses a differnt bulb with the dual elment in side like are turn signals have.

Rep Power: 0 I'm not real familiar with the side markers because I don't have them. Let me make sure I get this straight before I go into detail. You want your sidemarkers to be on with your regular running lights, but when you blinker is on, you want them to flash with your regular blinkers? Is that correct?

Rep Power: 0 ok......1st of all you need a power tester, and just need to hook up the side markers to the GROUND wire(black) i believe and the power wire((Green)maybe RED..that you'll check )) that blinks when you have them on.... you will test with the tester on the blinker lights..so have youre lights on and/or blinkin and test which wire blinks on the tester..thats where you connect it to and whala....all done ON & binkin..PS..you might need a dual filament bulb too.look in DIY if you're not sure about this
