Rep Power: 0 Cluster Swap.... I promise this is at least 50% intelligent
I bought an 03 cluster to put in my 05 dx, looking at the two wiring diagrams shows that the ex cluster has a pink wire in the blue plug that gets twelve volt power, and in the dx its in the green plug, do these get swapped?... I knew they had to be repinned but i was under the impression that all the wires stayed in the original plug, just moved around. One other thing, whats the best way to take the wires out of the plug to move them around?? Thanks.

Rep Power: 270 Wires get moved around from blue to green and vice versa..
There is a picture on this webpage with an example basically; http://cluster.dirtysamurai.com/
Friend had a pin extractor tool, but I still had to find a stronger pusher/needle. I used a sewing machine needle to extract (with the extractor tool giving me ample power to push with).
My cluster works minus one hiccup that hopefully I'll find the answer to. BTW, you could have searched the cluster swap thread and read it within there.

Rep Power: 236 Ya, you'll need to swap some wires over from each connector, I think it's like 2 or 3 wires...but it should work.
Thats the problem I had when I was swapping mines, that left me with no fuel guage and no right blinker lights. Just follow each connector pin and you should be fine.
BTW, GREAT LINK KARUMBA....and dirtysamurai.
