vtec contoler
isn't a vtec controler used to set the engine to engage at a certain point, and is it worth it to look at one if my car has mods or should it be a stock thing

Using emanage for fuel management. Im getting the cam, springs, and street tune to make it to the tuner shop put in for 300. I was quoted 550 at the tune shop bc they said it would be all day which I think is crazy bc it's not like I'm turbo and I think the stock ecu can handle everything besides WOT but we will see. Does that seem high to you?

To tune and install the Emang, cam, retainers, & springs no...
Why not just have them install the cam retainers, and springs???
Holding off on the Emang to see if the car can handle the setup...
I hope your not installing new injectors???
are you?
Maybe installing RSX injectors????
If so is thant why you bought the Emang???

Keeping stock injectors bc I think they can handle it but if the duty cycle is too high I'll probably get some rsx injectors. I got the emanage bc my friend bought the PCS-XFC and gave me a good deal on the emanage. He also said it would be better to be able to adjust ignition timing with the cam. So I'm thinking to just scrap the tuning idea if it drives well with the street tune but I did want to know how much whp I'd be making so we'll see.

Yep youll want to tune ignition, idle, and rev limiter.
But you cant mess with idle or rev with E mang.
Yep trust me,
your stock injectors will hold up just fine!!!
Good luck to you sir!

well i bought the vafcII and was having problems with it for a while until i looked into the wiring, if you go with the vafcII make sure you connect the dark blue VTM wire, but all in all to be 100% honest i dont think its worth it unless you have serious mods, or turbo. but if you want any other info just ask
no i havent had the cash to dyno it yet i pretty much leaned it out a little at kicked my vtec up to 5500 and see a lot of people told me that the vafcII doesnt work in the 7th gen ... it worked in mine and i can tell a little difference in power and a little difference in gas milage
