ok, I got this to you can take care of it in one of a few ways, you can take off the battery terminal and put it back on to reset the computer, or you can take it back to the dealer and let them look at it and pay them for it.

A intake should not void your warranty unless they can prove that the malfunction was caused by the intake and nothing else, beyond a shadow of a doubt, there is almost no way to prove that, so your okay.

Also make sure that you connected the sensor fully into the air intake unit and there is no space around it.

Hope this is helpful,
Joe

I've got the Injen SRI installed and didn't get any check engine light. Check and make sure the connector on the air temp sensor that goes into the intake didn't come loose. Also, check your ground wire. If the light doesn't turn off, make sure you switch back to the original intake before you take it in. Some dealers do not like any mods done and will calim it voids the warranty.

Yeah.. If you don't get a good seal on the gas cap, there is a sensor that will make the check engine light come on. I'm not sure if the sensor checks the pressure in the tank or vapors.

Some times too, if you use a k&n or that type of filter, the filter oil can get on the sensor and mess it up. Make sure the sensor is in good and not dirty.
