Arrow 05 civic carpeting

Alright, I'm trying to redo the carpet in my 05 4dr civic and have searched all over the place for the molded carpet (I don't wanna buy a few yards of material and F*** it up by doing it some ghetto way) . All I came up with was sites selling the molded carpet for up to the 04 model. Anyone know where I can find it for my model? Already tried ebay also--- turned up no good. Any help would be appreciated.

I would say that yes 04 & 05 would be the same.

I got a molded one once from JC Whitney for a Mazda truck.

It IS a job.

I thought they were the same too... just couldn't see myself spending 150$ on something that wouldn't fit right ya know. I didn't think it would be that hard... but always up for a challenge.

I got ahead of myself and cut the opening too large. Had to cut some extra strips to fill in around shifter boot.

It is always buyer beware with anything aftermarket IMO. The OEM would be super expensive though. Look for a premium or more expensive one if possible. I have not really checked into any in years.

Yeah unfortunately it is buyer beware most of the time. I called honda and they said the 04 and 05 should be the same. I thought about buying straight from them, but I'm trying to change it to black... all they have is grey and ivory...

next thing to do after the carpet is to get myself a leather kit for the seats... found a few good places for that but damn is it expensive... something like 600 for the whole kit

600 is not a bad deal. But make sure its leather and not vinyl. Most places use leather on the front seats and vinyl on the back seats.

I looked deeper into it and found out that it may be harder than I thought to do those seats... apparently you need some special tools to do it... which I don't have. I may buy the kit and have it installed... gonna have to research how much i'll be *** raped for that process.

where'd you get your leather from? You do it all yourself, and if you did, how hard was it 1-10?
