DIY auto to manual tranny swap!?
whats this i hear that if you use the a manual ecu i'll need to have my immobilizer reflashed at honda?
since you used the auto ecu/wiring is there anything difference then if you would have used manual ecu/wiring? like you dont need to push the clutch in to start car now, or w/e?

no difference you just take the black box off the tranny which tells the ecu what gear the car is in and make sure you leave it in park so you can take the key out
you also done need to push the pedal in to start it and i also still have my auto start and what not hooked up to it

So the ECU thinks it's in park? like it still thinks its a auto tranny? im little confused about that part...
do you still use your auto cluster or manual ? was there anything wiring wise you had to change for that? (i'd think no, but ya never know)
do you think it would be easier/less chaotic in the future to just change to manual ecu/harness and reflash?

yea the ecu thinks its in park so you can take the key out of the ignition
i used my auto clutser im just gonna get a manual reverse glow gauge insert so it looks like a manual one.
and nah no wiring was needed what soever the only thing needed to be wired is a clip for the speed sensor and you can to take the reverse wires off that gear selector and run it to the reverse switch i didnt do this yet being i had to have the car back to the bodyshop today but its all simple stuff took a total of 10 hours for the entire swap
manual ecu and harness isnt hard to install it just makes the price go up alot more but i dont really need or nor want it because the car runs mint everything is so smooth and didnt have one problem at all
