i just got a used v2 today. i want to piant it like a anodized red or shwo quality red . what shoudl i use a rattle can and if so what kind? high temp engin epaint or what? help me please

Yes use something that'll resist high temps.
Paint prep is probably more important than the actual top coat.

Sand it down really well then use a good quality primer.
Once that is done them you paint.
You'll need plenty of time and lots of patience for excellent results.
Don't rush anything.

Search and I'm sure you'll find some DIY paint threads that'll give you more detailed paint instructions.

the V2 papers say if u paint it, your warrenty is out the door. With what i've seen from some people, that arm that supports the pipe tends to break- meaning, the weld fails. If you paint it and this happens, then your fawked

boy, as much as the V2 intake costs. i'd NEVER touch mine like that. i leave it the way it is.

the arm is still going strong on my car. i'm always checking my intake system when i'm at the car wash with the hood poped up. cause i usually take the strong air hose and blow out the leaves and whatever is in there. i'll have to take a picture
