Question about spring install...

I know i'll prolly get sent to the "search" flame thrower section..

I'm going to be getting some eibach sportlines.. and would prefer (cheaper) to put em in myself.. one major question a local friend at work who does this stuff too got me w/ is.. the ball joints... in every DIY for atleast coilovers.. no one's mentioned popping the ball joints.. is it even necessary in our cars? someone give me a hint here? thanks

Solar is right...the spring installation on our cars is the easiest one I have ever done.

Remember that the spring is under load so when you remove the strut from the car be careful no to drop it. The big thing you need is a spring compressor (clamp), by all means DO NOT remove the spring without one, or you might lose part of your face , you'll also need the spring compressor (clamp) for reinstalling the new ones.
