the B16 would be no good in our cars, they are only good in like CRX's.. b18 can be done, its gunna cost u a bit more in the long run cuz you will have to have custom mounts made since no one makes them for our cars.. k swap is the way to go, the b series wont be around 2 much longer.

it states that no older engine can be put into a car that is newer than the year the engine was produced. i.e. you can't even legaly put a 2001 d17 into a 2002. it is all about emmsions. if you get caught with an older engine, b18, h22, etc. first they TAKE your car, not impound, but TAKE. then you can be assed a fine up to $10,000 plus up to 6 years in federal prision. stick with a k20 or k23. it'll save you problems in the future.

weren't there 2001 honda preludes? so if you have an 01 vic you can swap an h22 in? plus there were a few 2001 integras no? so you could technically do that. but yeah, $$ is an issue since everything will have to be custom.

aye, i know they had the b series, im just saying that there were a few 01 integras. so if you really want and have an 01 you could throw a b in there, but i do agree that the k is the best way to go.

i begg to differ. there is plenty of power to be made in a b series.
come to think of it you could also swap in a b20 from a crv c0onsidering they were also produced in 01. b20z makes good power and if you swap a few parts around from an ls motor you can make good power. not to mention doing a headswap from a b18c or b16 and little mods can make 200whp on a b20

turbo the d17 if you're not planning on adding more power to the k20, you'll save your self a sh*t load of money doing turbo for about the same power.. i think you'll be happy w/ d17 t3 turbo or even with a smaller t25 will spoolquick
