Throttle Cable/RPM issue
ok, i adjusted my throttle cable.. the cable itself is tight, but it idles around 600rpms
wtf did i do?!?! and also, which nut are you supposed to tighten? the one to the left or right (lookin from front of the car)

You have to loosen the one on the right, and then spin the one on the left towards the throttle body(in the direction of the arrow in the pics) that nut decides how much stress is on the cable. the nut on the right, holds the cable in place. I moved my cable about1/4 inch to the right. make it to where when you put your finger on the cable, the blade just barely moves. it helped when i did it. I attatched some pics too. look at them.
Good luck Peace out

hmm well, that might be the problem... i loosened up the right nut, then moved the left nut to the left.. on my car, theres less threads on the left of the left nut.. you seem to have alot of threads... dang, i totally messed up..lol
When I did mine, by the time I was done my left nut was all the way at the end, so I didn't have any threads left over there. It all works well now, but I wonder why you didn't have to adjust it as much. Must vary from model to model or something. I love the change though, makes it more fun to drive

intruder, wat model do you have? and do you notice any MPG decrease? thats one thing i seem to notice.. after im done, the gas needle is like 1 lil bar down than it was before i did it.. odd..
and when i did it before, i put it where you had it, intruder, and it idled at 3500RPMS
. not good.. but i just dont get why the RPMS decrease when im idled.. it goes down quite slowly too.. its odd
