switch install, need help
i went to radio shack today and got an illuminated rocker switch. it has the three prong setup. it is for one neon on my subs. my question is how do i wire this to be always on. i hooked it up and it is not switching or anything. basically i have no idea how to do it. i just connected 2 positives to the switch but the neon is always on now. help please
probably wired it backwards...
The package should have a diagram for how to wire the switch.
w/ illumated switches with single leads, the middle is always +12v constant from battery. Then one side is ground, and the other side is your switched + wire for your application...
and the switch is either on or off... not like an A/B switch.
Make sure you don't have any wires crossing.
