Exclamation Can you install front sway bar for dx?

My Civic doesnt have a front sway bar and i was wondering is there is a way to install a front sway bar. I've just got some wheels for the car hoping it would dramatically decrease the roll but it didnt do the trick.
I hate the roll in my car and I would rather invest in a sway bar than a strut bar.

Im 99% sure that you can, but Ive heard there can be some clearance issues if you have an exhaust on the car. Or was that in the rear?

as far as i know, ALL dx's have mounts for the front sway bar, but not the rear. adding a front bar will reduce the slop. you can take any bar from any previous year dx and it will fit, but if you ever plan on doing an EX exhaust conversion it WILL NOT clear. youd have to get an EX front sway bar. endlinks are the same for all models.

maybe

I just installed one on my 03 dx, it didn't come with one. Turn your tires all the way to the left then on the passenger side look and see if you have the holes for the endlinks. If you have them you should be good, if u whant to be sure then just jack the car up there should be 2 sets of holes to mount the bushings, these are located maybe 6in behind the front tires in the middle of the chassie.

] Does that apply to 05-06? I have an 03 dx, I put a dx ST front sway on then upgraded my exhaust with an hp header complimented with a 2.25 exhaust fits sweet doesn't touch nor tap at all.

it applies to all 7thgen model years. ST sway bars are meant to fit all trims, not just DX's it is still essentially an EX bar. but if you look up the dx and ex sway bars, they have different part numbers...take it from a guy that had to take out his front sway bar to let his EX down pipe clear..
