You have to use 4-8-c. This works for my car (same setup as you), but some will say that this doenst engage vtec, As long as you change the vtec output jumper (JP3) to 2-3, it will engage. But DO NOT touch JP4, because the emanage will then look for a vtec signal from the ECU, which you dont have and it will throw an error.

Seems like the guys with the EX ecu are running 4-8-e, my car wouldnt even start with that setting, Let me know how it goes.
break down of the jumpers **at bottom**

Jumper 4 needs to be 2-3

4-8-C or 4-8-E

Make sure your throttle is calibrated properly, jumpers are set properly and it's wired correctly.

Yo dezod i fixed the idal problem now and yet another problem came up. Emanage is throwing a code 11 at me, which is airflow input. I cheked the wiring and its fine. Any thoughts?

you wont blow anything up. If its not engaging, and all your setting are right then try connecting to the other vtec wire.
