air bypass valve
air bypass valve
i have an AEM CAI, and i just got an AEM air bypass valve to protect against water damage, but it won't fit on.. i tried putting it between where the 2 pipes connect but it doesn't fit?!? am i doin something wrong?
Yeah, you need to make sure the diameter of the bpv matches that of your intake. AEM makes it in 3 size, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0. If you got the wrong size just take it back and exchange it for the correct one. If you bought it online, then just take it to a local speed shop, they'll more than likely trade you.

i had the same problem
you won't get it to fit inbetween the two pipes because they are different diameters. i had to cut my aem intake on the top or high peice about one foot from the throttle body. i tried for about 2 hours to retro fit it with different hose clamps but it would not work. i recommend if you are going to cut to install your aem bypass that you cut where the silver warning sticker is.
hope this helps!
